This game is an entertaining way to practice reading sight words (most on the Dolch Basic Sight Vocabulary English word list). For this game a player plays a card that either matches the color of the card’s word or comes next in alphabetical order. Either way, the player reads the card as he plays it.
There are 26 word cards, one for each letter of the alphabet. To keep this game moving smoothly, you will need at least four copies of these word cards (104 word cards) plus at least 10 wild (MatchIt) cards.
